Job Description:

As a Production Operator you will be responsible for all aspects of maintaining compliance within the production areas, including manufacturing, quality, health, safety, and environmental and housekeeping requirements. Participate in efforts to drive forward and improve all operational aspects of the Beacon business. Ensure all products are produced and delivered to the correct specification in full, and on time, in accordance with the production plan, in order to meet our customer’s requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • All aspects of maintaining compliance within the production areas, including manufacturing, quality, health, safety, and environmental and housekeeping requirements
  • Participate in efforts to drive forward and improve all operational aspects of the Beacon business
  • Ensure all products are produced and delivered to the correct specification in full, and on time, in accordance with the production plan, in order to meet our customer’s requirements

Requirements:

  • Operate the designated machine in line with its technical requirements and related best practices methods to secure its optimal utilisation and quality
  • Continuously focus on the quality of the delivered raw materials (board, ink, glue) as well as manufactured finished goods through the monitoring and reporting on any discrepancies encountered
  • Follow the established quality control policies and procedures in terms of production flow and work organisation
  • Fulfil all the requirements in relation to the production and quality reporting
  • Keep the workstation clean and tidy
  • Keep control over the designated machine in terms of its operational condition and perform all designated maintenance duties and responsibilities associated with the machine
  • Actively seek and take opportunities to learn the production process and to broaden knowledge base on production issues
  • Ensure signing off all the required Safe Working Systems before commencing any specific operation or task
  • Follow all Healthy and Safety regulations respective for the specific workstation as well as the general company requirements and report on any hazardous discrepancies that need corrective actions
  • Promote a climate of continuous improvement and employee motivation and involvement at all levels
  • Contribute as a member of the Beacon Operations team
