Job Description

Our client is a leading manufacturer, offering innovative solutions with a commitment to excellence and precision. As a Production Operative, you will work within the manufacturing department dealing with the assembly, testing, and inspection of company products.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist in the assembly and finish of moulded parts as directed by the Team Leader, ensuring high workmanship standards and quality
  • Support the preparation of mouldings in line with the production schedule
  • Prepare products, ensuring all processes are followed accurately
  • Engage in the cutting, grinding, and flow coating of bonded products
  • Contribute to other areas of the manufacturing process as directed by your line supervisor
  • Assist in the production of sub-assemblies when required
  • Support the training of new production operatives and other personnel
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workstation
  • Operate in accordance with the company’s Health and Safety procedures and other related policies

Requirements

  • A good standard of general education
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar environment or Engineering BTEC Level qualifications with 1-2 years of experience
  • Ability to use conventional workshop power and hand tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise work
