Join Our Dynamic Onsite Production Team at Kober! We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative to become a vital part of our onsite Production Team at our bacon slicing and packing facility in Cleckheaton. If you are passionate about Production and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you!

Job Responsibility:

  • Play a vital part in day-to-day operations, ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Work within a high care chilled environment, handling food products, operating machinery, and adhering to strict hygiene and safety procedures
  • Ensure products are correctly packed and labelled to target in line with company and customer expectations
  • Report any defects or poor quality to a Line Leader
  • Correctly pack finished goods safely, to specification standards and in the correct orientation within each box
  • Safely stack boxes to a required height

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment is essential
  • Experience within a food production or chilled environment background is desirable
  • Good practical skills
  • Ability to work quickly and methodically and within a team
  • Ability to concentrate whilst doing repetitive tasks and follow instructions
  • 'Can do' attitude and proactive approach
  • Understanding of health and safety policies in the work place
  • Entry level in both written and spoken English
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Willingness to work in a chilled environment (protective clothing provided)
