Job Description:

We are looking for a hands-on Production Operative to join our Leeds team. You will be responsible for building high-quality unitised facades, windows, and doors. This is a technical role that requires a sharp eye for detail and the ability to work from specifications to ensure every product meets our safety and quality standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Fabrication & Assembly: building unitised and stick curtain walling, roof-lights, and doors including bonding panels, flashings, and factory glazing
  • Machinery Operation: safely using workshop gear such as overhead cranes, saws, grinders, crimpers, and drills
  • Quality Control: reading technical drawings and inspecting own work
  • Pre-Production: assisting with taping, kitting, and issuing materials/accessories
  • Dispatch Prep: packing finished products and completing quality paperwork
  • Site Standards: keeping station clean (5S) and ensuring equipment is checked and safe

Requirements:

  • Technical Ability: comfortable working with hands and experience with workshop machinery
  • Eye for Detail: able to spot errors on assembly line and interpret technical reports/drawings
  • Team Player: works well with others and manages workload without constant supervision
  • Problem Solver: solid troubleshooting skills
  • Safety Conscious: working knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing
