Job Description

We are looking for a Production Operative to work permanent nights, 39 hours per week Sunday to Thursday morning (times below inclusive of shift handover) on our state-of-the-art Manufacturing line. You will receive a competitive salary of £13.21 per hour + 35% night shift allowance = £36,166. Current Shift pattern: Sunday 22:45 – 06:00. Monday – Wednesday 21:45 - 06:00. Your responsibilities as a Production Operative will include running our production processes efficiently, ensuring safety, quality, quantity, cost, and time all meet operational standards, reducing waste and down time and supporting the development and improvement of all production processes.

Requirements

Experience of working within a fast paced production environment
A sound understanding of Health and Safety practices
A methodical approach to product quality and machinery care
Good communication skills are essential
Be a good team player with a 'Can do attitude'
To be familiar with reporting tools such as Microsoft Office and have the capability to operate machinery using touch screen panels (HMI)
Strong at fault finding and problem solving

Nice to have

Analytical and mechanical capabilities are advantageous but not essential in order to identify issues within the production process
SAP knowledge would be beneficial but not essential
