Magnetic Shields Limited is the global leader in the design and manufacture of magnetic shielding products and shielded rooms across a variety of sectors and industries. Our continued growth and ongoing investment mean we now have a brand-new factory unit which will double our production capacity and throughput. This period of expansion is a very exciting time for the Company, and we are keen to speak to applicants interested in joining our team as a Production Operative. As a Production Operative, you will take on a hands-on role operating our presses and performing a range of associated manufacturing tasks. You’ll play a vital part in producing high-quality products while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and safety throughout all operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Operate automated deep drawing presses in line with standard procedures and training
  • Perform associated tasks such as degreasing, deburring, trimming, fly press work, and rumbling
  • Ensure products meet all specifications and drawings with precision and attention to detail
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Support other areas of production as required – full training will be provided
  • Work flexibly across departments as business needs dictate
