Job Description

Join Our Dynamic Onsite Production Team at IPL Inchture! We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative to become a vital part of our onsite Production Team at our Potato site in Inchture. If you are passionate about Production and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you!

Job Responsibility

Assist in managing the product (Fresh Produce) flow through the line, quality sort and dress out defects, ensuring product specifications are met
Ensure products are correctly packed and labelled to target in line with company and customer expectations
Report any defects or poor quality to Line Leader
Correctly pack finished goods safely, to specification standards and in the correct orientation within each tray and safely stack trays to a required height

Requirements

Previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment is essential, specifically within a manufacturing/pack house/produce background is desirable
Good practical skills and the ability to work quickly and methodically and within a team
Ability to concentrate whilst doing repetitive tasks and follow instructions
'Can do' attitude and proactive approach
Understanding of health and safety policies in the work place
Entry level in both written and spoken English
