Job Responsibility:

  • Overseeing the baking process for loaf cakes, cake bars & flapjacks on a production line
  • Checking the product quality throughout the shift
  • Maintaining our equipment and machines
  • Communicating with colleagues
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the way we do things
  • Training others (once trained)
  • Maintaining our working standards, ensuring hygiene and safety
  • Once trained, owning the mixing responsibilities (ingredients), process area (baking), wrapping and/or transporting of the product
  • Reviewing processes to maximise efficiency, ensuring waste is minimised
  • Collaborating with colleagues to problem solve against production issues

Requirements:

  • GCSE pass in English and Maths
  • Prior experience in a factory environment is beneficial
