Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for MRP result analysis, understand weekly MRP planned buy message, release PO in timely manner
  • In charge of PO release, PO management, expediting, de-expediting and Cancellation per weekly MPR result
  • Be on top of any critical shortages, follow escalation process to address issues to Commodity management team for speedy recover plan
  • Monitor supplier on time delivery
  • Be on top of any PO related issues as PPV, shipping& receiving, accounts payable problems and process RMA in case run into any Supplier quality issues
  • In charge of ECNs, communicate ECN changes with Supplier, evaluation material impact, and monitor the future cut in of ECNs
  • Any other tasks assigned by manager to support HVM planning teams across Asia base

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (BS) is preferred
  • Related material planner experience
  • Strong understanding of MRP logic
  • Related purchasing skills PO release, PO management, Supplier management
  • Experienced dealing with ECNs of complex products is a plus
  • Demonstrates flexibility, work effectively in a team environment
  • Maintain strong attention to details and able to deliver good results
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Automate existing major reports for efficiency and readily available for Planners
  • Provide initial Volume Forecast to include Volume for D&T Calculations for Planners & PROGs use
  • Consolidate Volume & Repair Output Forecast from different products & perform initial analysis
  • Initiate volume review meetings with the PROGs, Finance, Planning, Transportation & Logistics Team
  • Ensure ontime publishing of the approved Volume Forecast for MBRs, PreQBRs, QBRs &/or when the need arises including other regular reports like weekly OTD, Shipments, etc
