A Production Manager here at OBE is responsible for many elements of a given project. For each assigned project/event from start to finish, the production manager is responsible for executing the approved production-specific Scope of Work (in part or in whole) in support of client goals and objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Executing the approved production-specific Scope of Work
Being in office, onsite, work-related travel
Collaborating with and management of other producers, production assistants and production coordinators
Managing multiple projects/events simultaneously
Serving as one of the key production team contacts
Overseeing and supporting the day-to-day production activities including the creation, management and reconciliation of task/timelines, budgets, and overall project quality control
Coordination of internal teams and external crews/vendors
Ensuring the high quality and smooth operation of overall production
Managing production-related communications and documentation
Actively sharing knowledge, know-how, learnings, and expertise
Sourcing and securing new vendors
Strong coordination and management of confirmed vendors and suppliers
Coordinating with venue(s)
Properly implementing and executing all applicable insurance, permits and compliance/licensing
Production and ownership of very detailed operational plans
Overall financial management includes budget building, cost research, day-to-day budget management, purchase order deployment, reconciliation and wrap up
Handling sensitive information
Requirements:
BS/BA in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Minimum 3 years of direct experience in producing experiential marketing programs and events
Strong production background
Strong and proven relationships in the experiential and event industry
Excellent computer skills that include Microsoft Office
Experience with Office 365, Google apps, Microsoft Teams and other project management tools is a plus
Positive and proven communication, planning, organizational, time management, delegation, and multi-tasking skillset
Ability to prioritize personally and on behalf of a team
Comfortable working in an ambiguous and very fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Strong client focus
Effective and proven problem-solver
Ability to manage events of varying size and level of complexity
Flexibility in working non-traditional hours (some nights & weekends), as needed
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
