This position is responsible for leading the area production strategy in a safe, ethical, environmentally responsible, and cost-effective manner within a remote coastal community. Reporting directly to the Saltwater Production Director, you will be an experienced marine manager who is committed to continuous improvement and capable of driving best practices across the area. Working in a remote environment, this role requires a highly collaborative leader who will work closely with local First Nations communities. The successful candidate will build and maintain strong, respectful relationships, support ongoing engagement, and play a key role in facilitating effective communication and coordination to ensure operations run smoothly. As a member of the Production Management Team, responsibilities include developing and implementing the area production plan, with a focus on optimizing the volume and quality of harvested salmon. This is a leadership role requiring an engaged manager who can build strong teams, foster collaboration, and inspire site staff to meet evolving operational and business objectives.

Requirements
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Atlantic salmon aquaculture
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a marine site manager /Production Manager or equivalent combination of education and experience
BSc in biology or related field is preferred
Experience with sea site operations, planning, feed management, biosecurity protocols, net management, and harvesting
Experience and/or training with budgeting and cost control
Proven experience working collaboratively with First Nations communities
