Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Production Manager for a leading player in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry for their expansion. This company has a legacy of more than 50 years in world. This position requires your urgent attention. Based in Indonesia. Expansion role. Managing 100 hc.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and manage day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet operational targets of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC)
  • Oversee both plastic injection molding and metal stamping/machining operations
  • Plan and coordinate all manufacturing activities, optimize machine utilization, and minimize downtime
  • Supervise mold changes, resin molding conditions, color changes, and machine setups for molding
  • manage forging and machining setups and tooling for metal operations
  • Develop production schedules, monitor material usage, reduce waste, and perform variance analysis to optimize Manufacturing Cost per Unit
  • Implement and maintain quality management systems (PPAP, FMEA, MSA), ensuring compliance with ISO/IATF standards and customer requirements
  • Coordinate and lead internal and external audits
  • enforce safety and health regulations
  • Lead, train, and develop production staff
  • manage workforce scheduling and conduct performance evaluations
  • Oversee TPM and preventive/corrective maintenance of all equipment
  • Manage inventory levels, material flow, and coordinate with procurement for timely raw material availability
  • Liaise with customers, address complaints, and coordinate with mold makers and suppliers
  • Prepare and present operational reports, KPIs (OEE, Rejection Rate, OTD), and improvement plans

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
  • 5–10 years of experience in mass production factory management, including both plastic molding and metal forging/machining
  • Strong knowledge of ISO/IATF standards, Lean Manufacturing, and MRP operation
