Completes job tasks in various operational areas such as production, sanitation, vac, packing, shipping & receiving during the non-holiday months.
Job Responsibility:
Assists the supervisor in all phases of the 1st and 2nd (if applicable) shift Ham and Turkey production, including monitoring targets and total room operations
Ensure all materials are set-up for production based on the daily production plan and provides feedback to supervisor/management when issues may arise
Will assist in performing end of shift reports, which consists of and not limited to: Processing & Inventory Reports
QA reports
Rotates staff to fulfill all positions, and provide feedback to supervisor, responsible for safety on assigned shift
Able to work flexible hours during the peak season and off season
This position assists in supervising up to 55 – 60 production associates
Requirements:
At least one-year experience in a production/assembly line preferred
At least one-year food manufacturing experience
At least one-year supervisory experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Ability to perform all job functions in the Processing room
Forklift certified
Requires co-operation and understanding of working under HACCP and USDA regulations
