Job Description

Bemana is searching for a Production Foreman in the McKees Rocks, PA area to join the team of a provider of contract terminalling, blending, packaging, and shipping services for oil and chemical producers. As Production Foreman, your focus is working side by side with all Union Members on Mechanical aspects of our old, and new machinery/ production lines.

Job Responsibility

  • Managing anywhere 15-30 Union Members between shifts will also be a key attribute
  • Report project progress to superiors
  • Work closely with our Plant Management on projects
  • Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards such as occupational health and safety and customer requirements
  • Monitor and prioritize workflow of production to meet deadlines
  • Provide direction and schedules to the manufacturing department
  • Solve disputes between workers
  • Ensure that a project is adequately staffed
  • Assign tasks and plan productions jobs for union workers daily
  • Ensure that the project is staying on or under budget
  • Hands on with projects and fixing equipment daily
  • Hands on with cleaning and day-to-day production operating

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Hands Mechanical experience required
  • Proven experience working in a supervisory role in the industry preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
