Job Responsibility

  • Oversee production, bottling, colourant, packing, and dispatch areas
  • Manage production schedules, batch sheets, and stock levels
  • Ensure efficient order processing and timely dispatch
  • Control raw material and finished goods inventory
  • Set and maintain reorder levels
  • conduct annual stock checks
  • Work with ERP systems for BOM, stock, and purchase orders
  • Negotiate with suppliers and couriers for pricing and service
  • Maintain quality standards for raw materials and finished goods
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and environmental legislation
  • Manage waste and recycling processes
  • Oversee repairs, servicing, and maintenance of equipment and building
  • Ensure premises are safe, secure, and operational
  • Manage attendance, holidays, and sickness
  • Conduct staff appraisals and wage reviews
  • Support mental health awareness and disciplinary processes
  • Maintain production and bottling records
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts for raw materials

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, ideally Sage 50
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
