The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), Production & Industrial Engineering (PIE) organization has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Production Engineering Manager to join the team in Portland, OR.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead production engineering teams with a commitment to safety, quality and integrity
  • Develop and maintain high-trust relationships with all customers, peers, and direct reports
  • meet commitments to all stakeholders
  • Develop and execute integrated program plans, policies and procedures
  • provide input on business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
  • Manage operational budgets
  • Partner with Production, Materials & Processes, and Industrial Engineering skill teams to acquire and retain skilled employees to execute statement of work
  • Manage, develop and motivate employees and front-line leaders
  • Ensure continuous production support to enable safe, stable, and standard production system operations across all shifts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 3+ years of experience working directly in a manufacturing environment (fabrication or assembly factories)
  • 1+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams
  • Must be a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 (US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to meet Export Control compliance requirements

Nice to have:

  • Experience as a Production, Materials & Processes (M&P), or Industrial Engineer or leading teams of Production / M&P / Industrial Engineers
  • Experience partnering with global, geographically diverse teams
  • Willing to travel 25% of the time both domestically & internationally as required by the business
