Job Responsibility:

  • Write and review code, develop documentation, operability features, capacity plans, and debug the hardest problems, live, on some of the largest and most complex systems in the world
  • Partner with the best engineers in the industry on some of the highest scale stuff around, the code and systems you work with are full production systems supporting our billions of users all around the world, with APIs consumed directly or indirectly by most engineering teams across the company
  • Drive improvements in efficiency, operability, scalability, performance, security and privacy across multiple distributed teams while merging their systems into a single sustainable global storage fabric

Requirements:

  • 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation
  • 60 months of experience in UNIX or Linux operating system fundamentals
  • 60 months of experience in TCP/IP network fundamentals
  • 60 months of experience in Coding in at least one of the following higher-level programming languages: PHP, Python, C++, or Java
  • 60 months of experience in Software frameworks and APIs
  • 60 months of experience in Performing 'guerilla capacity planning' for internet service architectures
  • 60 months of experience in Internet service architectures (such as load balancing, LAMP, or CDN’s)
