Job Description:

We’re partnering with a long-standing client in the Greater Manchester area as they look to strengthen their Engineering team. They’re a global engineering business that’s recognised worldwide for quality, innovation and technical excellence. Job Responsibility:

provide support to all areas of the production team
optimise and improve process capability and yield
create routings, BOMs, costings and process specifications
provide technical expertise in tooling, fixtures and programming

Requirements:

machining-biased apprenticeship, up to HNC/HND level in Mechanical/Production Engineering
at least 5+ years of experience
knowledge of 4 & 5 axis machining and CNC lathes
ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
solid project manager
excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with multiple departments
commutable to Middleton each day
conversant with Solidworks, CAD, CAM and SAP
