Job Description:

The Production Designer will be part of Hogarth India’s team supporting design and delivery requirements for Marketing Communications (Marcom) initiatives. This role blends design, adaptation, and production expertise to bring global creative intent to life in the India market with precision and finesse.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure the original creative intent is maintained through all production stages
  • Adapt global campaign assets into India-specific deliverables across digital, print, social, retail, and partner channels
  • Prepare digital-ready assets for websites, partner websites, social media, and channel deliverables
  • Conduct quality checks including resolution, pixel grid alignment, colour accuracy, typography precision, cropping, scaling, and retouching consistency
  • Interpret global creative toolkits and localise them for the India market, ensuring alignment with brand’s design systems while reflecting market nuances where needed
  • Adapt typography, product compositions, visual curation, copy placements, and still-life elements as per market requirements
  • Collaborate with the brand’s Creative Directors, Producers, Project Managers, and global/local design teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Coordinate closely with Hogarth Studio teams, external vendors, and production partners to ensure on-time and precise execution
  • Manage Design Quality Assurance (DQA) processes across interactive, digital, and print deliverables for the India market
  • Support production partners and vendors with clear technical design direction aligned with brand’s standards
  • Review and validate vendor work for production quality in digital and print workflows
  • Translate creative direction, rough layouts, and verbal briefs into refined and market-ready designs
  • Adapt assets across varied aspect ratios, resolutions, formats, and print specifications
  • Create and maintain design guidelines, templates, and production documentation to ensure consistency
  • Proactively address creative and technical challenges to enable seamless campaign execution
  • Stay updated on brand’s global design libraries, systems, templates, and production workflows
  • Collaborate with global teams to manage shared resources and maintain alignment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of design or production design experience across agencies, studios, or brand environments
  • Strong design sensibility with meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Experience with global campaigns, localisation workflows, and adapting assets for regional needs
  • Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to multitask and work within tight timelines and evolving priorities
  • Experience managing vendors and production partners for high-quality output
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively across creative, production, and content teams
  • Extensive experience in visual design, typography, layout, and production design within agencies or in-house creative environments
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Keynote layout
  • Knowledge of Sketch or similar tools is a plus
  • A strong design portfolio showcasing executional craft and production detail across digital and print
