We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Coordinator to join our growing content team. The ideal candidate has a track record of managing content workflows and publishing schedules across video and audio platforms. This role is essential in ensuring our video podcast episodes are published on time, optimized for discovery, and consistent across all distribution channels. The Production Coordinator will report directly to the Senior Producer, Podcasts, and can be based in New York City or work remotely for the right candidate.
Job Responsibility:
Own the publishing calendar for multiple podcast series across YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and other distribution platforms
Coordinate with producers, editors, and designers to collect final assets (thumbnails, descriptions, titles, tags, etc.) ahead of each release
Upload and publish content across platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and brand compliance
Implement YouTube SEO best practices to optimize visibility and audience reach
Maintain episode metadata, archives, and publishing logs
Work closely with producers and marketing to ensure cohesive rollout strategies across platforms
Assist in the QA process by reviewing final exports and published content for accuracy
Monitor episode performance and support the development of performance recaps and platform reports
Support experiments with new formats, A/B testing titles/thumbnails, and other tactics to improve discoverability
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure sponsored content elements are included and correctly executed
Communicate production and publishing timelines clearly across departments
Assist with special releases, live episodes, or re-edits when necessary
Requirements:
1–3 years of experience in content operations, podcast publishing, or digital media production
Deep familiarity with YouTube Studio and podcast hosting platforms (e.g., Megaphone, Anchor, or Libsyn)
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and time management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
