We are working on a production role with a top women's apparel company which focuses on better women's sportswear. Role is working both in their NYC and NJ Kenilworth Office. Role is 3 days in NJ and 1 day in NYC and possibly working from home on Fridays. May be open to other type of schedule based on the needs of the week. Don't need to come from womens apparel for this role but just strong production skills including working in Excel and managing the production process. Most factories are domestic as well. The Production Coordinator will play a critical role in assisting the Director of Production to ensure the smooth flow of goods from order placement through on-time warehouse delivery. They will perform general clerical tasks such as data entry, correspondence preparation, and maintenance, in addition to generating standard reports. This role requires a self-starter who has strong personal, collaborative, and organizational skills, as well as great attention to detail.

Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously
Communication with factories, warehouse, and various internal departments
Troubleshoot shipping and delivery issues
Coordinate shipments and track the production orders to maintain on time delivery
Prepare & Update Pattern Envelopes for pattern maker and marker/grader
Assist with overseeing all Time and Action calendars and WIP/PSR reports related to production
Assists the Director of Production, on a daily basis, by providing requested status updates and discussing scheduling plans
Issue, update and receive PO’s in Production System
Create and update BOM’s & Cost sheets in Blue Cherry for both Raw Materials and Finished Goods styles
Generate weekly reports related to PO’s
Run weekly reports
Follow up with production vendors on garment status and delivery
Perform additional duties and assignments, as requested
Requirements
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite such as MS Word, Outlook, and Excel – (formulas such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables
2-4 years of experience at least
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
Good follow up skills
Ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
Excellent interpersonal skills. A people person with a positive attitude
