As a Production Control Planner II, you will play a critical role in supporting production readiness, work authorization, and materials and service planning activities for our San Diego Ship Repair business. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products and supporting the execution of strategies and initiatives to meet schedule and demand requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate and prioritize the flow of materials in operations
Ensure materials are available for completion of work according to schedule and demands
Support process improvements and organizational change
Maintain effective relationships with internal/external customers and cross-functional teams
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
2 years of related experience
Ability to work effectively with company personnel, customers, and external suppliers
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to have:
Additional experience in production planning, scheduling, and controlling
Knowledge of shipbuilding or ship repair industry
Experience with process improvements and organizational change
