We are looking for a Swing Shift Production Associate to join our rapidly expanding team in the Portland area. The Production Associate is responsible for packing bagged product into boxes and/or stacking cases onto pallets in a refrigerated environment.

Job Responsibility:

Packing bagged product into boxes and/or stacking cases onto pallets in a refrigerated environment
Inspecting, monitoring, and communicating problems with equipment or product to the Lead
Assembling and preparing bags and boxes
Ensuring proper coding and sealing of bags and boxes before packing into cases or onto pallets
Ensuring proper stacking and placement of finished cases on pallets
Understanding different case packs and weight ranges of product
Understanding Company quality standards for product defects and immediately reporting excessive defect levels
Monitoring packing equipment to ensure everything is working correctly
Communicating with co-workers at shift change regarding situations that have or may impact production operation
Demonstrating good working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Sanitation Practices (GSP)
Performing work within Company quality standards and governmental regulatory standards
Following all safety rules and regulations
Practicing 5s and clean as you go.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred
Basic knowledge of simple math skills
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English preferred, but not required.
