Our manufacturing facility at Keele is a crucial part of the business and where our products are produced for the global market. As a production assistant, you will form part of the assembly team, and work with accuracy to ensure the quality of our finished medical products.
Job Responsibility:
Ability to wear appropriate PPE and gowns, and work in a cleanroom environment
Ability to follow and adhere to written instructions, predominantly Batch Manufacturing records
Ability to fill in prime documentation
Complete routine tasks within department
Ensure fully trained in all tasks that are assigned, and highlight personal training gaps
Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
Report problems with quality process, equipment or materials to supervisor or deputy
Comply with all policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements of Biocomposites
Cleaning and environmental monitoring to required standards
Maintaining and performing good housekeeping practices
Requirements:
12-months previous manufacturing experience working within a production operative role
Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice
Ability to work with precision and accuracy
Excellent communication skills
Ability to take initiative within a controlled working environment
Ability to wear PPE and work within a clean room environment
Previous experience of working in a highly regulated environment is advantageous
