Job Responsibility

Assemble mechanical components of wind turbines using hand tools, power tools, and overhead cranes
Follow detailed work instructions and engineering drawings to ensure accurate builds
Perform torquing, alignment, and fit-up of large components such as gearboxes, bearings, and shafts
Conduct safety inspections and maintain a clean, organized work area to present work related injuries
Exceed our production benchmarks by completing specific tasks within the designated timeframe
Handle materials by lifting, positioning, and/or removing them from the work area as needed
Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to improve assembly processes
Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives
Support other production areas as needed and as assigned by the supervisor
In coordination with PQA and Engineering Departments, conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting of potential production problems
