Job Description:

We are looking for a Production Artist to support high-volume creative production for print and direct mail projects. This is a contract position suited for someone who combines strong design execution with precise file preparation and a sharp eye for consistency. The ideal candidate will work across Adobe Creative Cloud tools to prepare accurate, press-ready assets while helping teams move projects from concept to final output efficiently.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare, revise, and finalize artwork for print and direct mail campaigns with close attention to brand standards and production specifications
  • Build and update production files in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, ensuring layouts, images, and typography are accurate and ready for release
  • Create press-ready deliverables by checking bleeds, trims, color settings, image resolution, and other print requirements before handoff
  • Partner with creative, marketing, and production teams to turn approved concepts into high-quality final assets that meet deadlines
  • Manage multiple assignments at once while maintaining organization, version control, and quality across deliverables
  • Troubleshoot file issues and make technical adjustments to support smooth output across print production workflows
  • Use Adobe Creative Cloud applications to adapt existing designs into new formats, sizes, and versions as project needs evolve

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Cloud for production-focused design work
  • Hands-on experience preparing files for print production, including knowledge of layout accuracy and output standards
  • Background supporting direct mail or other print-based marketing materials in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong production skills with the ability to follow detailed specifications and maintain visual consistency
  • Excellent attention to detail and a disciplined approach to proofreading, file setup, and final quality checks
  • Ability to manage deadlines effectively while handling multiple projects with minimal oversight

  • Ensure that all artwork and copy meet all necessary regulatory requirements when needed
  • Check all artwork to ensure accuracy of copy, color, and content
  • When faced with obstacles, work independently and effectively attain clarification to push projects forward
  • Route all artwork internally and implement markup changes without error
  • Understand and select the manufacturing processes that best suit specific designs and objectives
  • Evaluate color and finishes in-house during material sampling and prototype reviews, and on location with our manufacturing partners
  • Understand how materials can affect color and deliver detailed feedback to suppliers to achieve desired results
  • Check printer-supplied proofs to ensure accuracy when compared to released artwork
