Job Description:

As an Area Leader in the Paint Shop at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you play a key role in ensuring that the raw car body from the Body Shop is perfectly prepared, painted, and finished to the highest quality standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support your team in cooperation with your team leaders in executing the tasks of the paint shop
  • Ensure the training and mentoring of your team members
  • Coach and develop your team to achieve outstanding performance while fostering a collaborative environment
  • Oversee production processes, ensuring top-notch product quality and efficient operations
  • Implement safe working practices and maintain high standards for environmental protection and ergonomics
  • Act as a key liaison with internal stakeholders to address availability issues and minimize technical downtimes
  • Oversee maintenance operations within your area, including special activities such as weekend maintenance, shutdowns, and major repairs
  • Participate in planning for technical modifications and optimizing new production facilities
  • Utilize data to enhance transparency and support continuous process improvements

Requirements:

  • Technical degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Chemistry, or any manufacturing-related field
  • Several years of experience in similar roles in highly automated production environments and managed painting processes in the Paintshop
  • Fluency in Hungarian and intermediate English
  • Strong sustainable leadership qualities and skills to effectively guide and develop your team
  • Willingness to work in shifts
