Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Production and Inventory Coordinator to join the 787 Site Tool Services Team located in North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st Shift.

Job Responsibility:

  • Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions
  • Monitors work in process
  • Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to ensure parts availability
  • Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes
  • Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience supporting manufacturing for non-production materials, tool and shop supplies
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift
  • Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift
  • Forklift experience or ability to obtain forklift license
  • 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Applications

Nice to have:

  • 1+ years of experience in inventory, stock or supply chain
  • 1+ years of working knowledge of inventory systems such as KITS(Kit Integration Tracking System), Velocity, Order Manager, and ERPLN
  • 1+ years of experience utilizing the Crib Master application
  • 1+ years of experience utilizing Boeing Shipside Action Tracker (SAT) System
  • 1+ years of experience using Boeing Enterprise Shipping System (BESSy)
  • 1+ years of experience implementing lean manufacturing principles
