Production Accountant (French Speaking) | Production Agency | London/Hybrid. Harmonic are delighted to support a Production Agency with international presence on their search for a French Speaking Production Accountant. The Role: Reporting into the production and finance teams, the Production Accountant will take ownership of project accounting across a diverse portfolio of productions. You'll be responsible for chasing debtors, wrapping projects, overseeing budgets, preparing financial reconciliations, and implementing financial processes that support efficient project execution. This is a hands-on, varied role that sits at the heart of the business, partnering closely with both the production and finance teams to ensure every project is delivered in strong financial shape. The ideal candidate is a fluent bilingual or native French speaker with a solid grounding in project accounting, strong Xero experience, and an eye for detail. Whether you're an accountant looking to gain exposure to production accounting or a seasoned pro, this role offers genuine scope to make the position your own within a dynamic, internationally operating company.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage day-to-day project accounting across multiple projects/mediums
  • Own the full job wrap process, ensuring productions are closed down accurately and on time
  • Cross-reference Dext with Xero to ensure all receipts and expenses are correctly captured, coded, and reconciled
  • Chase debtors and manage outstanding production finance queries
  • Oversee project budgets and flag variances to the Head of Finance
  • Prepare financial reconciliations and reports with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Implement and maintain financial processes to support efficient project delivery
  • Liaise with international offices on accounting matters, utilising French language skills where required
  • Report directly to the Head of Finance and support with
  • Ad hoc financial tasks as required

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of Xero
  • Fluency in both English and French (bilingual or native French speaker)
