Job Description

Opportunity to work autonomously in a modern technical workshop environment. Join Motion in a hands-on role working with linear rail, belts, automatic lubrication units & other bearing + power transmission related products processing to our high standards, ensuring operational safety and quality while supporting inventory and documentation control.

Job Responsibility

  • Precision Cutting: Use specialized wet cutting saw to process cut to length LM Guide rails, round shaft to customer requirements
  • Finishing & Deburring: Perform post-cut processing including deburring / chamfering
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure and maintain a high level of quality processing & packaging of product
  • Cutting belts using specialized belt cutting machine
  • Processing / cutting transmission chain
  • Filling automatic lubrication units
  • Regreasing bearings to customer requirements
  • Warehousing - check off, receipting and correct storage practices
  • Packaging and dispatch of above products
  • additional tasks as assigned by the Technical Services / Engineering team

Requirements

  • Good team player with excellent communication skills
  • Mechanical aptitude, conversant with good engineering and warehouse practices
  • The ability to work with and respect precision machine components
  • Attention to detail & takes pride in own work and workspace
  • Safety Proficiency: Knowledge of industrial safety protocols, including the use of PPE and safe operation of machinery & powered cutting tools
