The Teradyne Product Support Engineering team is looking for a highly-motivated, energetic, technically driven Engineer to provide world class support to the current and future generations of Teradyne Semiconductor Test Products. This role is enabled by an in-depth knowledge of Teradyne’s product offerings coupled with a desire to provide timely solutions across an evolving customer landscape. The Product Support Engineer role is a dynamic and challenging global support opportunity that spans an array of engineering disciplines.
Job Responsibility:
Manages customer requests and product escalations
Provide product support to NPI, new installations, and all active installed base
Coordinate and support PUP and PIP activities at international sites as needed
Leading the collection, summary, analysis, corrective actions, and reporting of data in alignment with Cebu Repair Team, and Product Engineering
Create and provide Product Training Documents and Procedures to field team
Travel for Training, Support, and Installation activities in assigned region
Potential travel to customer sites to assist in resolving complex issues
Other product support and customer support assignments as required
Create new FRU and Technical Bulletins/Service Bulletins
Data analyst function- Create monthly MTBF reports
Work with field team to clarify part failure records and update database accordingly
Requirements:
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics or equivalent courses
3 to 10 years of strong technical experience and understanding of ATE testers or semiconductor equipment
Strong communication and integration skills
3-10 years of product support/service experience in the semiconductor test industry
Strong communication, organizational and multi-tasking ability
Ability to schedule and manage small projects is desired
