Job Description:

As a member of Baxter’s sales team, you’ll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You’ll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Achieve revenue sales and targets for the assigned Business Unit within own geographical or business area
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned customers, build and develop professional long-term customer relationships
  • Prepare, implement, and review targeted account plans aligned with the commercial policies defined by Baxter
  • Plan and prepare for each customer visit and record outcomes on the Baxter Sales Force portal
  • Propose and provide each customer with appropriate solutions that will maximize opportunities both for the customer and for Baxter
  • Maintain presence in all existing and target customers
  • Deal with customer complaints and implement corrective actions as per Baxter SOP
  • Continuously assessing the market for new customers/opportunities/risks to Baxter’s portfolio
  • Present Baxter products and their advantages
  • Organize and distribute all needed promotional material in line with marketing strategies
  • Participate in congresses and other customer events as well as organizing Baxter hosted events as per territory requirements
  • Provide customer training and support/assistance where needed
  • Work closely with sales and other supporting roles within the organization
  • A willingness to travel within the territory (frequent daily and country trips are required), as well as nationally/internationally

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Biomedical Engineer degree would be a strong advantage
  • Scientific background - preferable
  • Minimum 3- 5 years sales experience within the Healthcare /Medical Equipment industry
  • Existing relationships with ICU Dr’s Nurses and Biomedical Engineers in the specified territory will be an advantage
  • Fluent French and Arabic, good knowledge of written and spoken English is a must have
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office is required

Nice to have:

  • Biomedical Engineer degree would be a strong advantage
  • Scientific background - preferable
