Product Specialist - Equity Advisory

• Maintain coverage and follow the development of existing investment ideas and themes
• Work on new ideas and drive the commercial targets of the team
• Align stock picking exercise alongside HSBC Private Bank’s Global Investment Committee strategic views
• Work on bespoke equity portfolios on behalf of advisory clients
• Generate single stock, sector and country index ideas with the Structured Product teams
• Contribute to the strategic House View
• Advise and comment on global stocks

• Proven experience in global equity markets in a sales or analyst or portfolio manager role
• Fully conversant with Microsoft Office with deep knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
• Strong understanding of global equity markets
• Well-developed analytical capabilities with equity analysis and selling experience
• A firm understanding of the macroeconomic factors influencing equity markets
• Proven experience in managing advisory equity mandates/equity portfolios
• Client facing experience
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) in English are required – with expert knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Bloomberg
