The HWA/HCL UNO Sales Specialist is responsible for growing new license, subscription & support and services revenue for the HCLSoftware portfolio for the workload automation area. The Sales Specialist is a customer-facing role that takes a solution and consultative approach to identifying, progressing and closing opportunities. Hunting attitude required. The role will also work closely across HCL Products services, product management, development, support and customer advocacy teams. Key focus being on new license revenue opportunity.

Requirements:
8+ years experience and a demonstrated track record in enterprise software and services sales
4-year university degree (or equivalent)
Experience with enterprise Workload Automation platforms (e.g., Control-M, Autosys, CA-7, Automic, IBM Workload Automation, HCL Workload Automation)
Proven ability to position workload automation as a core IT operations capability, covering batch, event-driven, file-based, and API-triggered workloads across hybrid environments
Experience supporting or leading migration and modernization initiatives, consolidating multiple schedulers into a single, scalable automation platform to reduce OPEX and operational complexity
Experience with business process orchestration platforms such as Camunda, n8n, Pega, and similar technologies
Exposure to RPA ecosystems (e.g., UiPath) and their role within end-to-end automation strategies
Ability to position an orchestration layer coordinating workflows across RPA, BPM, APIs, legacy, and cloud systems
Understanding of Agentic AI, combining AI agents with deterministic workflows, governance, and observability

Proper Customer Success Managers Management
Understand with high proficiency the market and the competition
Collaborate with the regional Client Directors to define sales strategy, and tactical steps for the different sales cycles
Collaborate with the Customer Success Managers team to ensure retention of current customers
Work in a collaborative with the Customer Success Managers and Marketing teams to properly manage new and existing leads
Work in a collaborative way with the Customer Success Managers and Legal teams to properly onboard new customers
Work in a collaborative way with the Business Partners (BPs) and Legal teams to properly onboard new BPs
Solve basic customer questions related to the solution (for more complex situations work with the Technical Advisors team)
Take ownership of crit sits to resolve them with the support/engineering/Technical Advisors teams
Enlarge the value of the registered renewal for our key customers by assessing potential upsell, cross sell, and CSA/PSA opportunities
Develop additional sales leads while assisting customers to migrate to newer versions
Focus efforts to close new logos
Work with the Technical Advisors team to perform workshops to evaluate migration options, additional capabilities, strategic plans and value realization
Assist and develop new and current sales opportunities with Business Partners
Lead together with the Marketing team, the organization of marketing events in the region
Demonstration of eagerness to contribute by showing self initiative, leadership, positive attitude, and excellent communication and presentation skills
30%+ travel required
