Job Description

Bentley Systems seeks a high‑performing Product Sales Engineer to drive new sales and expand existing business across Hydraulics and Hydrology solutions. The PSE operates as both a technical advisor and commercial owner, responsible for progressing opportunities from initial engagement through closure, while positioning Bentley’s software, services, training, and cloud offerings as strategic enablers of customer business outcomes. Sales experience in social media especially 'LinkedIn' is a necessity for this role. Preferably based in Malaysia, this role leverages strong Bahasa language proficiency, enabling effective engagement with users and prospects across Indonesia, while also supporting selected markets and strategic accounts in Singapore. This regional language capability and market alignment are essential to maintaining customer relationships, accelerating deal cycles, and minimizing disruption to ongoing sales initiatives following the transition of the incumbent role.

Job Responsibility

  • Social selling experience, especially in LinkedIn platform, and other Social Media with high traffics in Southeast Asia region
  • Own and drive the Hydraulics and Hydrology sales motion from sales initiative planning-execution to win across SMB Product Sales accounts
  • Execute targeted sales campaigns, outcome‑based sessions, and live engagements that convert interest into pipeline and revenue
  • Proactively generate demand using social selling, prospecting intelligence tools, and professional networks
  • Develop and execute account and territory plans focused on quota attainment and over‑achievement
  • Manage full opportunity lifecycle within Sales Force to ensure transparency, forecast reliability, and execution discipline
  • Translate technical capabilities into clear commercial value propositions aligned to customer business outcomes
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of Bentley’s commercial offerings, licensing models, and support policies to accelerate deal cycles.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental or Hydraulic Engineering, or equivalent experience in engineering software sales
  • 3–5 years’ experience in utility and engineering organizations with quasi technical and business development roles
  • Proven self‑starter with strong ownership of outcomes and ability to manage multiple revenue initiatives in parallel
  • Strong executive‑level communication skills in English
  • High collaboration capability across sales, technical, operational and marketing teams
  • Willing and able to travel up to 50% to support active opportunities and key accounts.

Familiarity to Hydraulic and Hydrology solutions (Bentley OpenFlows or comparable solutions) preferred.
