Job Description:

As a Product Requirement Engineer, you will identify and develop product requirements to ensure sustainable, safe, and functional products for various markets, while creating documentation and working with teams across the organization. You will participate in team meetings, conduct testing, and ensure successful implementation of product requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Translate customer expectations on products into technical requirements
develop and communicate IKEA products documentation
develop product requirements for sustainable, safe and functional products
identify product legal and market specific requirements
order product samples, organize testing, evaluate requirements and provide feedback during development or production phases
participate in team meetings to track the progress of product development process

Requirements:

University Degree in Textile Engineering
experience working with product development and/or creating and documenting product requirements
ability to lead yourself, take responsibility, and drive initiatives from start to finish
good analytical skills
high ability to administrate large amounts of data
ability to see patterns and apply best practices
passion for sharing knowledge and ability to explain complex matters in an easy way
good skills to plan, prioritize, execute and follow up work tasks as per deadlines
knowledge of IKEA specifications, standards, and test methods relevant for the product areas
ability to apply agile development methods
motivated to work in a rapidly changing environment
