Lead regulatory development, by developing internal and external networks, to keep up a proactive approach to product requirements based on a global approach, to secure product compliance activities in China.

Job Responsibility:

  • Align Regulatory affairs priorities in China, within assigned area(s), and communicate to relevant stakeholders
  • Lead and coordinate external activities of upcoming legislations in China that need input from IKEA, within assigned area(s)
  • Identify, develop and maintain the network of stakeholders at authorities, alliances, and standardisation organisations together with cross functions
  • Develop and maintain enterprise standards for China market, within assigned area(s)
  • Represent Inter IKEA group upon product compliance relevant government activities and investigation accordingly in China
  • Contribute to product compliance risk assessment for China market
  • Contribute to process improvements across the organisations related to Regulatory Affairs and Product Requirement in China
  • Contribute to develop competence of relevant internal stakeholders for relevant product requirements

Requirements:

  • University degree or above
  • Work experience in product requirement, product compliance, or regulatory affairs with broad understanding of relevant requirements and regulatory movements related to IKEA products in China
  • Familiar with the China system for developing and managing requirements
  • Basic knowledge in international standardisation work
  • Understanding of the IKEA value chain, the concept and processes, and the IKEA products
  • Ability to navigate in a complex business environment
  • Fluent in English and Chinese, both spoken and written
