Job Responsibility:

Take necessary action on products to give them a second chance, through As-Is Selling, Repackaging or spare parts management
Present and Sell IKEA products in As-Is using a strong commercial expression, selling these products with pride, and setting relevant prices that are attractive to customers yet still generate the best results for the business
Always consider the sustainability impact when deciding when and how to recover products
Represent and be an ambassador for product recovery, quality, and safety awareness in the unit
Work closely with the different functions in the unit to ensure that common working routines and processes are followed related to product quality, safety and recovery
Support and execute the product quality and safety related tasks in the unit to constantly improve customers’ product quality perception of our IKEA products

Requirements:

Business-minded and result-driven with a customer focus
Experience working in a customer- and commercial-oriented business
Open to change and a high level of flexibility with a high ambition to work in a team environment
Can take personal initiatives
Can prioritize and organize personal work duties to make the most efficient use of time available
Creative with attention to detail
Good knowledge of the IKEA product range
Can use power tools and craftmanship in product assembly
Customer service minded – with the right attitude and behaviour to actively help customers to buy
Can prioritize daily tasks based on need and volume and work under pressure
Operational understanding and logical thinking
Good communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
Flexible with a readiness to change
Can work well both in a team and individually
Good understanding of merchandising techniques and how to create a commercially attractive As-Is offer
Good understanding of customer behaviour in an omnichannel retail environment
Good knowledge of the waste management and sustainability principles
Good knowledge of using IT systems and other tools in daily work duties
Good knowledge of functions within the IKEA unit and how they contribute to the product recovery, quality and safety processes
Good knowledge of the store's product recovery, quality and safety processes
Basic understanding on how each workflow within recovery and quality affects the units profit and loss
