Shopify’s platform strategy is powered by partnerships. We’re hiring a Product Partnerships Lead to recruit and develop strategic technology partners across South East Asia and China. This role will expand merchant choice, support regional product priorities, and help drive merchant success across priority APAC markets. You will build senior relationships with leading technology companies, negotiate complex partnerships, and work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Support to bring integrations and partnership opportunities to market.

  • Assess partners based on merchant impact, product market fit market leadership, product alignment, and go-to-market impact
  • Align partnership priorities with Shopify’s international product roadmap
  • Collaborate with partners in order to understand merchant use cases, build integrations, and unlock merchant value through deep understanding of partner value propositions
  • Lead cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Support, Legal, and Finance
  • Co-develop strategic partnership roadmaps in order to maximise value for merchants

Requirements

  • Understanding of software product integrations and platform APIs
  • Based in Singapore, with strong in-market presence
  • Fluent in Chinese and English
  • Additional languages are a plus
  • Experience building partnerships in commerce, technology, or SaaS across South East Asia and China
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, remote environment
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills across cultures

Nice to have

Experience with cross border operations and complexities from regulated markets and logistics, handling and business operations
