Job Description:

We’re partnering with a leading industry company to find a talented Product Owner to support a hybrid working environment. This role is ideal for someone passionate about leading Agile teams and delivering user-focused web applications. The position offers an exciting 7-12 month contract opportunity based in a flexible, collaborative setting.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and prioritize the product backlog to align with business goals and technical constraints
Collaborate with stakeholders to establish the product vision, develop roadmaps, and plan releases
Create clear user stories and acceptance criteria, organizing features based on their business value
Represent the voice of customers and end-users throughout product development
Coordinate with developers, UX designers, QA, and Scrum Masters to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Product Owner or similar role within an Agile/Scrum framework
Deep understanding of Angular (v10+) frontend frameworks and Java-based RESTful APIs and GraphQL
Proven ability to convert business needs and UX designs into actionable technical specifications
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and version control tools such as Git
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills
CSPO or comparable Agile certification
Workday configuration experience
integration experience preferred
Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
Experience in cloud-native platforms such as AWS or Azure
Familiarity with the Fineos platform is an advantage

Nice to have:

Preferred: Insurance experience in Disability and Life products
