Job Description:

Citi is seeking a Senior Vice President as a Product Owner for Global Futures, Clearing & FX Prime Brokerage Operations. This role involves driving significant process and platform transformation, acting as a liaison across global teams, and delivering innovative solutions in a complex operational environment.

Job Responsibility:

Act as the Product Owner for significant process and platform transformation across global Futures and Clearing Operations, with an initial focus on platform migration
lead the extensive business analysis and documentation of new process flows related to the core business platform replacement
oversee test management, user training, and support for the new platform
drive migration planning and execution for the platform replacement
lead a virtual and agile team (comprising line, technology, and support parties) to ensure complex processes are understood, appropriately challenged, and that end-state design reflects target operating model principles, client experience excellence, and regulatory/control compliance
deep-dive into critical and complex processes, assessing risks, booking model optimization, and identifying instances of localized nuance within global platform constructs
bridge global Operations teams to ensure common understanding and approach
perform the role of key senior liaison across departments in a technical capacity, over and above dedicated project and change personnel
develop and maintain high-level project plans in concert with various change and tech team leads to ensure one central view of all interconnecting books of work
drive process re-engineering, standardization, and technology prioritization along with global leaders
articulate solutions for digitization, automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), low-code development, and straight-through processing
present program status to senior global leadership, ensuring that program risk is articulated, understood, and that mitigating actions are viable and accurately delivered vs. target
through action and leadership, create an inclusive, high-performance environment where diverse, motivated talent thrive and excel
implement a successful People and Engagement strategy to help attract, develop, retain, and recognize a talented workforce
coach and mentor our People, ensuring effective one-to-one discussions, and providing direction, feedback, support, and encouragement for career development

Requirements:

Extensive direct experience (10+ years) in Futures and Clearing Operations within a comparable Tier 1 organization
specific and demonstrated knowledge in complex Futures & Clearing Operations line processes and practice
specific and demonstrated experience in development and migration of core FCX platforms while supporting live trade activity
strong knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to Futures and Clearing business lines, inclusive of Client Money, Transaction Reporting, Open Interest Management, and Position Limit Monitoring
experience delivering vs target in a global financial services enterprise proficient in rapid product innovation, complex market evolution, and sophisticated client trading
strong people and team management - experience supporting disbursed, virtual, agile teams including hiring, training, mentoring and developing talent with planned career progression and pipelining
demonstrated ability to succeed where the ability to discover and internalize diverse stakeholder goals is critical to brokering solutions that are in the best interests of Citi as a whole
excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple organizational levels internally and externally, simply and clearly, leveraging data as needed to support strategic goals
self-reliant, good problem solver, results oriented
