The UAI group of companies provides market-leading, local and cross-border debt collection for municipalities (local governments) and private companies in the field of transport-related additional charges and administrative fees throughout Europe. In recent years, we have become one of the leading specialists in the international investigation of affected vehicle owners and the collection of unpaid fees. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Product Owner (m/f/d). In this role, you will be responsible for our enterprise applications end-to-end and optimize them for maximum business value. You are the bridge between users/business and development and ensure clarity, prioritization and clean implementation across the application landscape.
Job Responsibility:
Proactively promote and develop internal and external responsibilities
Simultaneous implementation of multiple, independent projects and development work
Participation and introduction of planning, reviews and retrospectives (SCRUM process)
Definition and prioritization of product requirements in close cooperation with stakeholders
Creation and maintenance of the product backlog
Ensuring on-time delivery of product developments
Proactively absorb ideas from the team, evaluate them and integrate them into the product strategy
Working with the development team as well as external service providers to ensure that requirements are clearly understood and implemented
Modelling of business processes in cooperation with the responsible employees
Accompaniment of change processes in the context of product implementation
Close cooperation with interdisciplinary development teams and external partners to ensure efficient implementation
Responsibility for the enterprise application landscape including end-to-end process view as well as dependencies between applications, data and workflows
Development of solution proposals for new requirements/business ideas together with Business Development/Sales
Preparation of make-or-buy decisions and drive implementation internally/externally, focus on internal developments (Power Platform)
Ensuring data transparency and complete documentation (processes, system contexts, data flows) as a basis for decision-making, automation and future AI use cases
Requirements:
Degree in computer science, business informatics, information technology or a comparable qualification
At least three years of professional experience as a product owner or in a similar role
Knowledge and experience in agile methods (Scrum, Kanban)
Experience in the environment of enterprise application landscapes or in the control of several applications/platforms
Low-code / power platform knowledge is an advantage (not as a developer role, but for technical control/ownership)
Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Ability to convey complex technical concepts in an understandable way
Experience in working with international teams
Very good knowledge of German and English (at least C1 level)
