We are looking for a Digital Product Owner to lead the vision, roadmap, and delivery of digital banking products across web, mobile, and API-driven platforms. This role is responsible for maximizing product value by balancing customer needs, business objectives, regulatory requirements, and technical constraints within a highly regulated banking environment. The ideal candidate is customer-obsessed, data-driven, and experienced in Agile delivery within financial services.
Job Responsibility:
Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned with the bank’s digital strategy
Own and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements
Identify opportunities to enhance digital customer experiences and drive adoption, engagement, and revenue
Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring items are clearly defined, refined, and ready for development
Write and approve user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules
Act as the primary point of contact for the delivery team during Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Collaborate with business leaders, operations, risk, compliance, legal, IT, and UX teams
Balance competing priorities and make informed trade-offs to maximize product value
Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to senior stakeholders
Use customer insights, analytics, and feedback to inform product decisions
Define and track product KPIs and success metrics (e.g., adoption, conversion, NPS, operational efficiency)
Support experimentation, MVP releases, and continuous improvement
Ensure all digital product features comply with banking regulations, data privacy, security, and internal governance standards
Participate in risk assessments, audits, and model approvals where required
Ensure appropriate controls and documentation are in place throughout the product lifecycle
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field
5+ years of experience in digital product management or Product Owner roles
Strong experience delivering digital products in banking or financial services
Proven experience working in Agile environments (Scrum / SAFe / Kanban)
Strong understanding of digital banking platforms, customer journeys, and financial products
Excellent communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills
Nice to have:
Experience with mobile and online banking platforms
Familiarity with Open Banking, APIs, payments, or core banking integrations
Experience using product analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel)
Product Owner or Product Management certifications (CSPO, PSPO, SAFe POPM)
