Product Owner

• Industry experience in Payments, Cash Management and/or Treasury Management
• Sound understanding of payment flows
• Working in large scale programs across client, market and regulatory requirements
• Effectively work in a diverse and multicultural team
• Communicate across all levels, functional groups and geographies
• Identify opportunities, take ownership and responsibility
• Manage demands from several sources and work to deadlines
• Lead and influence a large group of people without formal reporting relationship
• Co-ordinate with multiple stakeholders at global level and get necessary decisions taken within desired timelines

• Minimum of 12 years work experience in Transaction banking, Enterprise preferably in Payment's product management
• Proven experience in product management, product commercialization, IT and operations, process improvements or project management disciplines
• Practical knowledge in solution development, business case development, requirement analysis
• Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze complex problems, interpret customer and/or operational needs and develop integrated, creative solutions
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial or transaction banking functions with an exposure to Product Management
• Experience in implementing large scale product development project
• Familiarity with product governance and project management disciplines
• Understanding of relevant regulatory environment and impact
• Industry experience in Payments, Cash Management and/or Treasury Management with sound understanding of payment flows
• Product management or product development experience preferred
• Good understanding of HSBC payment architecture and flow
• Experience in working in large scale programs across client, market and regulatory requirements preferred
• Ability to effectively work in a diverse and multicultural team
• Effective communicator across all levels, functional groups and geographies
• Good communication and presentation skills-both verbal and written
• Proactive in identifying opportunities, self-motivated, willing to take ownership and responsibility
• Managing demands from several sources and working to deadlines
• Experience and knowledge on Swift and ISO 20022 is required
• Able to lead and influence a large group of people, who will not have a formal reporting relationship with the individual
• Ability to co-ordinate with multiple stakeholders at global level, and get necessary decisions taken within desired timelines

Preferred if has been working in a lead Business Analyst or a Product owner role for at least 5 to 6 years and be able to handle a team
