Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on Product Owner to lead our ITP solution for managing installed base and lifecycle data of assets sold to our B2B customers. In this role, you will own the product vision and backlog, connecting customer service business processes with data products across SAP and non-SAP ecosystems. Working closely with business stakeholders, data teams, and platform engineering, you will drive iterative delivery, high-quality data integration, and continuous product improvement.

Job Responsibility

  • Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and measurable outcomes for the Installed Base & Asset Data Platform
  • Lead discovery activities and translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and well-prioritized backlog items
  • Steer backlog refinement and sprint planning to ensure focused, iterative delivery and continuous value creation
  • Translate B2B Customer Service process requirements - including installed base, warranties, service contracts, spare parts, maintenance, and field service - into scalable product capabilities
  • Orchestrate end-to-end asset lifecycle use cases and coordinate integration across SAP and non-SAP platforms, including SAP S/4, Service Cloud, SAP FSM, Asset Manager, BW/EDW, data environments, and IoT solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business informatics, computer science, engineering, business administration, or a comparable field
  • 5+ years of experience in digital product ownership, application management, or solution delivery, including 3+ years in a similar Product Owner role
  • Strong understanding of B2B Customer Service processes, including installed base and equipment management, service orders, contracts, warranties, spare parts, maintenance, and field service
  • Solid experience integrating SAP and non-SAP solutions, including SAP S/4HANA EAM/CS/PM, Service Cloud/C4C, SAP FSM, Asset Manager, SAP BW/EDW, and modern data products such as APIs, data lakes, and event-driven platforms
  • Proven Agile delivery experience, backlog management, and the ability to write high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria
  • additional knowledge of IoT/telematics, data governance and MDM, SAP integration technologies, data quality frameworks, or FSM mobile and dispatch processes is an advantage
