Job Description

The Product Owner within the Solutions team has the role of defining, standardizing and delivering end-to-end commercial solutions for Vodafone Romania's business customers. Acts as a point of contact between commercial requirements and execution teams (technical, legal, financial, security), ensuring that solutions are compliant, scalable and ready for market launch. The role involves ownership of assigned solutions, from requirement to Go2Market, as well as close collaboration with external partners and internal stakeholders to ensure a coherent experience for the customer and the sales force.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinates initiatives to define, standardize and deliver assigned commercial solutions, ensuring that they comply with business, technical and compliance requirements (legal, GDPR, security, finance), in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and external partners
  • Builds and maintains complete documentation of solutions: functional and non-functional requirements, process flows, responsibilities, SLAs, KPIs, delivery plans and Go2Market, in accordance with the strategy defined by the Chapter Lead
  • Manages internal requests received from commercial (sales, marketing, presales) and technical (VBTS, IT, architecture) teams, contributing to their prioritization according to business value and delivery capacity
  • Coordinates the delivery of assigned solutions, ensuring compliance with deadlines, budgets and deliverable quality, in collaboration with execution teams and technology partners
  • Ensures that managed solutions and services comply with internal compliance regulations and contributes to the dissemination of these requirements within the team and to the stakeholders involved
  • Coordinates the definition and implementation of end-to-end Sell–Build–Run processes for managed solutions, ensuring clarity of responsibilities and operational efficiency at all stages
  • Coordinates the construction of customer journeys for external customers and internal users (e.g. sales teams), to guarantee a coherent and predictable Go2Market experience
  • Contributes to the development of Go2Market materials (product presentations, operational processes, guides for sales teams and customers), in collaboration with the technical, customer operations, marketing, sales enablement and go2market teams
  • Monitors the execution of solutions in the portfolio, following up on deadlines, budgets, deliverable quality and defined performance indicators (KPIs), periodically reporting progress to the Chapter Lead
  • Contributes to the development of business cases for managed solutions, providing inputs on costs, estimated revenues, profitability model and associated risks
  • Coordinates the operational relationship with external partners to define and agree on SLAs and KPIs that support a positive experience for the end customer and for Vodafone sales teams
  • Ensures the update of the status of solutions in the internal portfolio management systems and contributes to the transparency of execution within the team and towards VBU management
  • Coordinates the tracing of processes and execution flows that allow clear reporting of profitability at solution, partner and customer level, in collaboration with the finance and architecture teams
  • Coordinates the compliance of solutions and processes with internal audit norms and provides support in the preparation and support of external certifications or audits regarding quality and operational processes
  • Coordinates own professional development and actively contributes to team development through exchange of best practices, learning sessions and involvement in professional training initiatives established by the Employer

Requirements

  • Relevant technical knowledge of telecom, IT&C and IoT solutions
  • Understanding of IAAS, PAAS and SAAS technology architectures and components
  • Understanding of B2B telecom sales channels and how connectivity services merge with IoT and ICT
  • Applied knowledge of cyber and physical security in the context of business solutions
  • Experience in collaborating with external partners and technology providers, including negotiating SLAs and KPIs
  • Ability to understand complex technical information and evaluate solutions against business objectives
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies, development processes and solution design best practices
  • Understanding of end-to-end Sell–Build–Run processes and profitability reporting
  • Networking and influencing skills at entry and middle levels of the organization
  • Experience in delivering commercial projects in complex organizations
  • Basic financial knowledge to contribute to business cases (forecast, costs, revenues)
  • Clear, structured communication adapted to different organizational levels
  • Negotiation, conflict resolution and interdepartmental collaboration skills
