Job Description

Alter Domus is seeking a Product Owner – Real Assets to join our Product Group and help drive the evolution of our Private Credit platform capabilities. Reporting to the Head of Product – Real Assets, this role will be responsible for defining, delivering, and continuously improving product features that support complex private credit operations at global scale.

Job Responsibility

  • Contribute to the definition and execution of the Real Assets product strategy and roadmap, aligned to business priorities
  • Develop a deep understanding of Real Assets fund structures, loan lifecycle management, accounting, reporting, and regulatory requirements
  • Translate business objectives and client needs into clear product initiatives and success metrics
  • Coordinate the roadmaps and prioritization amongst several strategic proprietary solutions within the Real Assets business
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and clients to identify problems, opportunities, and improvement areas
  • Lead requirements definition including epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
  • Balance client driven demand with scalable, standardised platform capabilities
  • Work closely with Engineering and Architecture teams in an Agile delivery environment
  • Own backlog prioritisation for assigned product areas, ensuring value based delivery
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure quality and timely delivery
  • Support UAT, release planning, and post release adoption
  • Act as a key point of contact between Product, Technology, Operations, and Commercial teams
  • Communicate roadmap progress, dependencies, and trade-offs to senior stakeholders
  • Support sales and client engagements by providing product expertise, demos, and roadmap context
  • Support various proprietary solution leaders in managing their respective roadmaps in concert with that of the overall Private Credit business
  • Define and track KPIs and product performance metrics
  • Use client feedback, operational data, and market trends to drive continuous improvement
  • Stay current on Real Assets market developments, regulatory change, and competitive landscape

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Business Analysis, ideally within financial services or fintech
  • Strong understanding of Real Assets or related alternative investment products
  • Experience delivering complex enterprise software solutions
  • Proven ability to translate complex business needs into actionable product requirements
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models

Nice to have

  • Experience with fund administration platforms, loan servicing systems, or accounting engines
  • Exposure to regulatory and reporting requirements within private markets
  • Prior experience in a global, matrixed organization
  • Background working closely with distributed product and engineering teams
