Job Description:

We are seeking a Product Owner III to join our Agile team as a dedicated member of the Scrum Team. In this role, you will represent the users and business, ensuring that all deliveries align with requirements by demonstrating working software at the end of each sprint cycle. You will collaborate closely with product managers, other product owners, operations leadership, and agile team members to deliver high-quality solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Partner with business, technology, and architecture stakeholders to bring the business and architectural vision to life, delivering features in a lean, iterative, and nimble way
  • Drive the story elaboration process for your team, ensuring at least two sprints’ worth of ready stories
  • Define acceptance criteria for team stories
  • Prioritize the team backlog to achieve goals and outcomes effectively
  • Maintain visibility and transparency of the team’s user story backlog, ensuring clarity on upcoming work
  • Accept completed user stories on behalf of customers based on acceptance criteria
  • Ensure the team understands backlog items to the necessary level of detail
  • Actively participate in Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
  • Gather feedback from demos and incorporate it into the backlog and future iterations
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and other Product Owners to define and coordinate feature development across teams when needed

Requirements:

  • Proven experience functioning as a dedicated Product Owner for Scrum Teams (not hybrid roles)
  • Strong experience writing and refining user stories for software development teams
  • Proficiency with Agile tools such as Rally, Jira, or similar platforms
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in an Agile environment
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail

Nice to have:

Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus
