Job Description

Take a key role in shaping Bühler's global Finance & Controlling. As an experienced Product Owner, you drive process and solution design on SAP S/4HANA, acting as integrator between Finance & Controlling and our agile teams. You continuously improve functionalities and push our Finance & Controlling landscape toward excellence.

Job Responsibility

  • You drive as part of the global agile team, the development of end-to-end solutions for Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Tax, and Travel Management
  • You ensure continuous value delivery in a SAFe setup, with clear OKRs and measurable outcomes
  • You own, refine and prioritize the Team Backlog, run Sprint Planning and Reviews, prepare and contribute to PI Plannings and System Demos
  • You collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and design value-adding solutions for Bühler while ensuring IT guidelines especially around compliance, security, continuity
  • You manage the smooth handover and ongoing interface between solution development and operations

Requirements

  • You hold a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • You bring several years of experience as a Product Owner, preferable in SAFe environment or comparable lateral leadership experience
  • You have a background in Finance with experience in SAP S/4 Hana (FI/CO) and high affinity for designing processes and creating user experience
  • You are familiar with key agile events (e.g., Sprint Planning, PI Planning, System Demos) and ideally hold certifications such as SAFe POPM, PSPO, or CSPO
  • You communicate clearly in English and German and know how to mobilize and align stakeholders without formal authority

  • Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI to improve accuracy, efficiency, and decision-making across finance processes
  • Partner closely with AI and application engineers to design system-native solutions rather than manual workarounds or downstream fixes
  • Redesign operating models, workflows, and controls to enable consistent, repeatable execution as the company scales globally
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Finance, Accounting, GTM, and Infra
