Job Description:

Our client, a Canadian powerhouse in the Group Insurance and Wealth Management sector, is launching a high-priority strategic initiative. We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to act as the primary nexus between internal integration squads and a global external consulting partner. This is not a traditional Product Owner role; it is a high-level hybrid position that demands the analytical depth of a Senior Business Analyst. You will be responsible for navigating a complex technological landscape, ensuring that business requirements are translated into impeccable technical documentation to drive large-scale systems integration.

Job Responsibility:

  • Strategic Convergence: Serve as the central point of contact for internal integration teams and external global partners to ensure alignment on project goals
  • Requirement Architecture: Lead the elicitation, analysis, and formalization of complex business needs into a structured, traceable technical framework
  • High-Precision Documentation: Produce exhaustive User Stories and functional specifications in English, maintaining a level of detail that minimizes development ambiguity
  • Ecosystem Design: Define requirements for sophisticated client interfaces, including reporting suites, interactive dashboards, and specialized display screens
  • Delivery Oversight: Support partners throughout the delivery lifecycle, performing quality audits to ensure solutions are innovative and compliant with business standards
  • Agile Governance: Facilitate workshops and planning ceremonies, providing the clarity required for accurate resource estimation and technical sequencing

Requirements:

  • Senior Expertise: Substantial experience in Product Ownership or Business Analysis within large-scale, complex digital transformations
  • Industry Background: Solid understanding of the Insurance or Group Savings domains is highly preferred
  • Technical Asset: Previous experience or familiarity with Salesforce ecosystems is a significant advantage
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage relationships with high-level external vendors
  • Analytical Rigor: A natural inclination for detail-oriented research and the ability to produce high-quality documentation autonomously
  • Linguistic Profile: Fluency in French and advanced English (essential for documentation and communication with global partners)

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience or familiarity with Salesforce ecosystems is a significant advantage
  • Solid understanding of the Insurance or Group Savings domains is highly preferred
What we offer:
  • Strategic Visibility: Lead a flagship organizational project with significant long-term impact
  • Hybrid Flexibility: Enjoy the best of both worlds with a primarily remote schedule and 2 to 4 collaborative sessions per month in Quebec City
  • Complex Ecosystem: Work alongside top-tier global consultants and specialized internal dev teams
  • Stable Engagement: Long-term mandate providing professional continuity through the upcoming fiscal year
  • Modern Culture: Benefit from an Agile environment that prioritizes transparency, positive attitude, and continuous delivery
